The Jam Lab offers a unique opportunity for collective improvisation, fostering the ability to connect with fellow musicians, even those you may not know, in a jam session while also learning popular repertoire frequently performed at jams. Our program consists of two teams: a 'pop' team exploring rock/funk/pop genres, and a 'jazz' team delving into blues and jazz standards.

To join the Jam Lab, we only require proficiency in keeping time with a metronome and other musicians, ability to read sheet music and/or tabs (optional for drummers), and intermediate technical proficiency on your instrument (e.g., being able to play some simple covers).
